Freedom Fighters is a fun third-person shooter game that takes the action to the streets of New York City. You'll love that the game changes as you play and all of the challenges that it throws at you.

The game takes place in an alternate view of the world. Instead of the United States dropping atomic bombs, Russia did. You play as Chris Stone, a plumber who believes things should be different. When Freedom Fighters starts, you see a series of missions on your screen. Though you can pick which one to complete first, the game only ends when you finish them all. Chris gets two weapons that help him along the way. One of those is your primary weapon that you can always use, but the other is your secondary weapon. It has a limited amount of ammo and can run out. Don't worry though because you'll have the chance to pick up other weapons as you move through the game.

As a third-person shooter, Freedom Fighters gives you an entire platoon of men to control along with Chris. The graphics are so nice that they pull you into the game and make you feel as though you're in the heart of NYC. Freedom Fighters is a unique game that learns your skills the more you play. While most of the challenges are fairly easy when you start, the game will quickly adjust the missions and become more challenging as you continue. The AI inside the game changes each time that you restart it too.

Though there is a lot to like about Freedom Fighters, you might find the game a little boring because you can only play on your own. There are no options for playing online or against others who also download it. You may not like that you cannot customize the game or change your character either. Many players were shocked when they reached the end of the game because they got there so quickly. Freedom Fighters is much shorter than similar games are, but it does have enough action that you won't mind playing it again.

In addition to the standard game, Freedom Fighters also comes with a built-in mini-game. This game takes a first-person perspective and allows you to hit the streets as Chris and kill some of your enemies. This level is shorter than the full game though but has the same graphics and solid gameplay. While there are tons of action and battle games, many do not look as nice on Windows devices. Those with nice graphics often take up a lot of room. Freedom Fighters has the graphics that you need but saves space on your device.
